Looking for Usagi Special Edition HC
Hi all,
While I am relatively new here I have been a Usagi fan for a long time. With the release of the Usagi Saga Hard Covers I have decided I want to reread the entire Usagi story. I already have the 3 Usagi Saga HCs but want to purchase a Usagi Yojimbo Special Edition Hard Cover set as I want to start at the very beginning and don't want to get all my floppies out.
If someone has a Usagi Yojimbo Special Edition HC set for sale please get in touch with me. I will pay a competitive market price.
Regards,
David

I was going to say good luck finding one for a reasonable price if you want the hardcover. The softcover is being released in September I believe, which might depress the price a bit.

I know they are a fair bit more than cover and I am fine paying the current market price. Completed and sold eBay auctions seem to be a tad over $300 and I am ok with that. I went to order from Amazon when the HC first came out but my order was not fulfilled. I never tried to track one down but now I have the Saga books I want to reread the whole series.Mayhem wrote:I was going to say good luck finding one for a reasonable price if you want the hardcover. I know the soft cover version is coming out soon but I only want a HC copy as I will be keeping the book in my personal collection and HCs stand the test of time better.

They certainly do. That's why I always try to get hardcover versions of all the books I read, assuming they're reasonably priced. I was fortunate enough to get the Special Edition HC when it was still in print. I wish you good luck in your quest to track down a copy for your collection.david20009 wrote:I know the soft cover version is coming out soon but I only want a HC copy as I will be keeping the book in my personal collection and HCs stand the test of time better.

Re: Looking for Usagi Special Edition HC
I have an extra hardcover set I'm selling on ebay right now.
The slipcase has a split on the top edge but could be repaired I imagine.
The books are in perfect condition except a minor flaw on the front cover of volume 1...pics are up on the ebay listing and I had to adjust the filter to even get the flaw to show up.
I had sold them once but the buyer flipped out and returned them. USPS damaged the slipcase. I think he was trying to flip the purchase for a bigger dollar amount and when that happened he decided to return it.
I don't know what international shipping would be but with about 9 pounds of Usagi it won't be cheap.

I am no longer looking for a copy as I picked up Trevis copy. Looking forward to it arriving in HK and starting to reread the Usagi adventure.

Enjoy! Glad we could get it worked out! I had two copies and I'm glad it is headed to somebody that will appreciate it.
