I guess that's an interesting one in regards to whether it could be copyrighted or trademarked.

I designed Usagi's mon to evoke the feeling of a rabbit's paw print in the snow, but it is a real family crest. I don't know from what clan it's from, though.

If I recall, there are literally thousands of family crests. I did some searching one time, and there are numerous books and websites that specialize in them.

Probably not something you can copyright or trademark.
