This might be the most difficult hunt I've ever undertaken. First you have to find someone who went to the show, then they had to go on Sunday and finally the badges were only for "KIDS" under the age of 13. I'm pretty sure kids 13 and over had to purchase an adult pass.

*I contacted C2E2 directly and they said they didn't have any.
*I contacted a handful of the largest comic stores in Chicago. No luck
*I posted on the C2E2 Group page. Zero replies thus far.

Wait another 8 years when those kids are 23 and they have other things on their minds because they're in the "not interested in comics" phase and they're selling their old stuff on Ebay.

I just spent a few hours looking at #C2E22018 pictures on instagram and came across a grand total of 4 badges out of 16,000+ photos. That's a 0.025% success rate.









How did we all miss out on this collectible? The badges were only $10.75 at the time.

But what's even harder to fathom is nobodies selling any. Why not?

They probably just got chucked afterwards.

Graham Crackers Comics told me that stores had to return any unsold badges to C2E2. When I asked C2E2 if they had any leftover they said no. I wonder if they sold out or just threw them away?

Maybe someone from the event saved them.

Maybe some will show up on Ebay now that they know someone is interested in them.

It looks like a decent amount of families dress up for C2E2 so I might expand my search to include anime/cosplay forums.
