In my haste to track down
Usagi Yojimbo Meets Godzilla I purchased the wrong year's SDCC souvenir book. I have since rectified the situation and own 1994's as well.
I intend to keep 1994's but would like to find a new home for 1999's.
Highlights include:
- section celebrating Sandman
- section celebrating Batman
- section celebrating Pogo
- section celebrating 30th anniversary of SDCC, features pin-ups by Stan Sakai and Sergio Aragones (on facing pages)
For the most part I am just looking to cover shipping + shipping materials so price would be somewhat depended on there you live. Let me know if you are interested.

Doesn't seem like anyone is interested.
Since that is the case I would like to contribute it to the Dojo's communal prize chest if such a thing exists. If it does just let me know who to mail it to.

Looks like Gaffey is doing an Usagi Yojimbo giveaway right now on the FB Usagi Yojimbo! Group. Gaffey do you want to add this to the prizes you are offering.
I do want to do another charity giveaway fundraiser. But my work is going to be very challenging until the end of the academic year (Mid-June) and my dad just died so I not ready to commit to that. Kyle is another dojo member who has a bunch of giveaways available might be willing to take your awesome prize giveaway. Thanks for offering to do that for our community. You’re a good man, Brooks.
Peace, maka

I am!
It's my understanding that Kyle has an entire room full of Usagi goodness just waiting to be
given away. At least that's what I heard from a certain trickster fox.

Sorry to hear about your dad's passing.
Thanks Gaffey. As I told Go, it very hard. And I have received so much love and support from dojo friends, friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers. As I deal with the loss of my dad in my life, I also deal with the love that comes from the people who are still alive in my life. While I can not replace my dad’s love, I will not deny the love in my life. And as I told my students, “Grief is the result of losing someone, something, some situation, or some dream that was good. It hurts because that good is no longer there. Grief is the price of having good and love in this life. And it’s worth that price always.” Thanks for your note of support here.
Back to the topic at hand, Brooks, maybe you can get some photos to Gaffey of the book so he can add them to his contest prizes. Then when the winner is picked you both can just mail it to the winner. Such a great community. Thanks for adding to the joy of being a fan of Stan, his creative universe, and us fans. Peace, maka

I am willing to ship anywhere in the US.
Gaffey, it probably doesn't makes sense for me to mail it to you for you then to mail to someone else. That would double the postage and given how slow parcel mail is in the US right now could really end up being delayed getting the prizes to the winner. If you are willing to share the winners info I can send it directly to them. If you (or the winner) would prefer not to do that I can hold it until I get Kyle's contact info.
Maka, sorry to hear about your father.

We might have an actual
contest in January so you could hold onto it or you could send it to Kyle if he wants to stockpile stuff. He usually responds to PMs here on the DojoBoard.
*I threw together the Christmas giveaway at the last minute. Obviously!

I'm surprised more people haven't participated. It's pretty simple. Although the fewer people playing ups the odds of winning.

You always come up with such thoughtful responses.
