Dear Reader,
When is the release date for Usagi Yojimbo: Homecoming in hardback?
Will there be a signed edition available?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best wishes to all.

From what I understand, IDW has no plans to do a hardcover version for Homecoming. :(

I think it may be worthwhile if a bunch of us would write to IDW asking for a hardcover version so they know that there is a demand and market for it.

Yes, IDW has no intentions of a hardcover for Homecoming, or Tengu War.

I wonder is things go smoothly with Stan releasing a HC version of Tengu War! if he might consider following it up with a HC of Homecoming.

Stan said that they would only be able to do a hardcover if/when it goes to a second printing since IDW didn't produce one with the first printing. I'm guessing they have to piggyback their run off the much larger softcover print run (since the interiors are the same with just a book plate for signing/numbering added in) to make it economically viable.

Ahh, well I haven't explicitly heard IDWs plans when it comes to second printings but I know much of the industry is prioritizing new content over reprints. Al least while shipping remains delayed and the paper supply chain is under pressure. Image announced no reprints of individual issues or collections for the foreseeable future.
