First of all,i would like to introduce myself..

i'm DV2 (or DV),21,Male,from Spain,a new Usagi Yojimbo follower and fan,and currently thinking of Fan Art of Usagi.

When i've seen him in my childhood at the old TMNT of the 80's (1989) i tought "i'll remember this guy..i'm sure he'll appear in a future"...Future!!,we're in the future =D..after seein him again a tthe TMNT's 2005 Edition (the videos at the UJDojo),i tought...it's time to do something new,fox guy (that's me^^).

*Takes a deep breath and releases it slowly,both* *Blushes*

Dear Stan Sakai:

After reading your comics edited by "Planeta DeAgostini" in Spanish,i've been amused about your art style...the face expressions of your characters looks like if you've seen them somehow in real life..it's a technique never seen in a comic for kids (like i said,i'm 21,but i've got my feelings and emotions for any kind of things)..

The comic's i've read are Circles and actually reading Gray Shadows,thou i have 2 other comics to read after,Gen's History and "Segadora II" (something like Reaper 2,in english?),since there's no Reaper 1 on the sell ^^;;;

The meaning of this post,besides of introducing myself as a Spanish Follower,it's to show off one of the best pics i've ever made in my whole Deviant Art history and in my style (called Cel Shading,you'll instantly notice why it's called like that)...

Mr.Sakai...this drawing is for you in it's full splendor...it's not that really great,but i wasn't looking for real-ness but content and some kind of quality *blushie* (and no,i'm not [FONT COLOR="WHITE"]CENSORED[/FONT]..it's emotion ^^;

I also want to compliment you on a great piece of Usagi fan art, and since you frequent the Deviant Art web-site, I'd like to recommend the Usagi Yojimbo Club set up on Deviant Art at http://usagi-yojimbo-club.deviantart.com/ where you can meet and interact with other artistic fans of the long-eared rabbit ronin.

Segadora II is called Grasscutter II in the original or english editions, with the name based upon the nick-name of the sword that was given as a gift by the goddess Amaratsu to the first emperor of Japan and passed down through following generations of the imperial family. Usagi Yojimbo volume 5 from Planeta DeAgostini is called Segadora (or Grasscutter) and tells the first part of Usagi Miyamoto's involvement with this imperial treasure.

I was talking to a friend about Barcelona just last night. Paul Dini will be there with his wife Misty. Unfortunately, I will not be going. I hope Planeta will invite me one year, though.

I had been to Expo Comics in Madrid in 2004. That might be the same people who put on Manga Expo.

i wish Planeta releases more comics of Usagi Yojimbo soon...i bought those i said in my first post at one mall (called FNAC) and today i bought "Moon Halo" (or something)..then i asked for the person who controls the whole manga/comic stuff and said that,sadly,there's no news about new upcoming UY comics....but i won't give up that easily ;D...i know another place,called "NORMA COMICS",in Barcelona.

I went there only one time...but going another time won't hurt

After reading "grey shadows" book,i've wanted to draw usagi and Ishida in a pic,with the add-on of a Tokage

Thou it's less detailed than the other one,it's still good^^..sorry if Ishida is a bit shorter than Usagi..^^;;;;

I've recovered the topic so i dun make another one and fill stuff ^^;;

HEY!,i'm back again after a year n 6 months! X3..and that's the time i havent drawn Usagi ^^;;..

But my art improved,a bit,and wanted to make a pic about Stan Sakai's latest book,"Fathers And Sons" (the spanish title)
