Considering doing a very simple usagi rpg online (using d6)

Post by Lubidius »

Hey. I don't know if any of you usagi role-playing fans would be up to it; but I may do a short run 3Months running time - online play-by-post of Usagi's world using west end games d6 system. It is a very simple system. I want to use something that is readily playable, but also readily available online as far as it's main mechanics.

You can see the major inner workings of the mechanics here:

http://www.northernmountains.com/hd6/aoe_rules.htm

and an alternative guide here:

The original rulesets are available here -

http://www.westendgames.com/

These are the folks that brought you star wars rpg back in the mid 80s. It's a very rules light, but relatively dynamic system that I think would allow for very easy tracking online for an usagi rpg.

If there are any takers, Private Message me. I would likely run it at www.myth-weavers.com

Again, a short run campaign, no long term commitments necessary. If it worked out well, I'd start and stop it from time to time for fun.

I hope to get the usagi rpg itself as additional source material, but wanted something very generic to run online. I'd rather see good writing then good rolling. d6 is a very easy system to adjudicate online.
