I really admire your work to keep on writing. Truthfully, I haven't had the time (made the time) to read these. But some day. :)

Peace, maka

Thanks for the kind words!

If you read it that would be awesome. If you like it would be wonderful.

In the meantime stay safe and stay well.

Epilogue.

The war has ended. Peace has been restored. So much has been lost. But hopefully love has filled the hearts of those who must continue with the business of living...

If I had any real plan for a single character it was Kenichi.

Even before I set finger to keyboard I wanted to give Kenichi a large role in the story. I always thought he was under-used. I wanted to make him as honourable as Usagi. As brave as Tomoe. I wanted to make him a soldier, a leader of men and most of all a father. A man filled with love for his family, even if they weren't his by blood. I wanted to make him laugh, as he always seemed angry.

The scene where Usagi and Kenichi meet for the first time during the war in the Hikiji castle was very important to me. I had them embrace and congratulate each other for their victories and their rising through the ranks. I wanted them to be comrades. Not rivals. To me those days were long behind them.

I also wanted Usagi's old village to be the focal point of the story. Where it began and where it ultimately ended. Where Yasuhira and Usagi dreamed of living out their lives, but were denied by the rest of the world. But in some small way they both found peace in that village.

I hope everyone enjoyed reading my saga as much as I had writing it.

Cheers. Stay safe. Stay well.
