I've been wanting to draw these two for awhile, but finally got a chance to as part of an art trade with Mark. Hope you all enjoy^_^

I really hope that Mark was able to give you a piece of art even a fraction as nice as yours back in trade.
As always, you capture the true essence of the characters in your artwork, in this case the father protecting his kid while he takes him into the heart of danger and the kid showing complete trust that his father will keep him safe as they walk the assassin's road.

Aww, thanks everyone^_^ I'm really glad you like it!
Thanks again everyone!
You get that too? Awesome^_^ I think it's important for a still picture to have that sense of motion in it, you know? That you can see the frames before it and after.Lady Keiko_ronin Usagi wrote:It's like he's about to move!
Glad to hear that! I learned cel painting, actual cel painting, back in high school at a class hosted by Disney feature animations. Back when we still had an animation studio here. I fell in love with the art, and have painted... at least 200 cels since then. But as my workload is changing, I'm having to go with digital art. So if it's still keeping the charm of my beloved cels, I count myself blessed^_^Todd Shogun wrote:It looks like an animation cell actually. Crisp and clean....
Thanks again everyone!
