Remember a scene in Forest Gump ? "His ancestors fought and died in every american war" xD
I'm already imagining a sequence of dozens of Hugh Jackmans dropping to the ground dead.

If all of the shots (outside of the wars, etc) are all supposed to be within the same time-frame and the children they show are indeed a young Storm and Bobby Drake(?), and he doesn't have a healing factor (like Logan/James and Wade), wouldn't he be REALLY old in the present day stuff?
I don't think so. I think what we'll see in the movie definitely pre-dates the first X-Men movie, but not by much. I think we'll see a bunch of flashbacks (Logan's childhood, the wars, child mutants, etc), but the movie will most likely pick up within a few years before X-Men 1.

What would really be cool is if the movie concluded with Wolverine working for the Canadian government and is sent to take down the Hulk...

What confuses me though is the whole Sabretooth thing. In the first X-Men movie, he's just a random bad guy...In this one he plays a significant part, like he did in the comics. Perhaps Logan's memory loss prevents him from knowing who Sabretooth is the the first X-movie...

from wikipedia:

"Emma Frost will appear in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the trailer, she transforms into her diamond form. Rumors initially stated that actor Hugh Jackman identified the character as Emma Frost, though no such statement was made. The character's identification was later supported by a Marvel article released on their website."

I was wrong! darn!

Whoops, sorry I'm late on the reply, but in the trailer, around a quarter from the end, you see a blond girl with her skin turning to diamond--much like Emma Frost.

Looks like it really is her. Thanks for confirming it, Ralcos.
