I thought that the new opening sequence for The Simpsons that premiered during last Sunday's episode was pretty slick. I love that there's a bottle of Tomacco juice during the part where Marge is checking out at the grocery store (it really should've said "Tastes like grandma!" on the label).

I like the idea of redoing the opening sequence (the 20-year-old animation was looking pretty dated), but I'm going to risk unpopularity and say that I didn't care for this new one. The animation is kinda herky-jerky in places and it just looks cobbled together. After the strides in animation they've made over the past few years, this was kind of a letdown.
