San Diego Comic-Con 4-day badges 80% sold

I was absolutely amazed to learn yesterday that four-day badges are already nearing sold out: http://comic-con.org/cci/

I guess I shouldn't be shocked considering the turn-out in recent years and the sudden interest in graphic novels due to Hollywood's latest output.

Even DC is about to put out the "After Watchmen, What's Next?" reprinted issues of 5 of their series (mostly under Vertigo) for $1 each. Link

Anyway, just wanted to warn those who were planning on attending who hadn't registered yet.

One of the things I was excited about when I moved to SoCal was the fact that I'd be in pretty close proximity to San Diego and, in turn, Comic Con. But this is the second year in a row that financial constraints are preventing me from attending. Darn recession!
