Thought at least some here might like this: Abominable Charles Christopher is a web comic by Karl Kerschl. It's about a Yeti and his adventures in the forest. The art is really first rate. The rain isn't as good as Stan's or anything but still pretty nice to see.

David Petersen is also a favorite here, so I suggest getting your feet wet with his recent guest strip.
