I passed!

Post by Andy »

This summer I passed my doctoral comprehensive exams. That was the most difficult thing I have ever done!

This means I'm a "doctoral candidate" and when I finish my dissertation, I will have an EdD, or doctorate in education.

My dissertation will be on using comics to teach anti-bullying. It may take as long as nine months to complete.

Congratulations!

Let me know if I can help in some way. I totally support the use of comics as a teaching tool, and education in general. In fact, this will be my fourth year as a thesis advisor to an art college.

Great job!

Your choice of subjects makes me think of the three stories that Stan did for Phil Yeh's Patrick Rabbit comics promoting literacy and staying in school, etc.....
