Jay is a terrific guy, and a wonderful storyteller. I did a bee drawing for a jam cover for one of his Clan Apis issues. He had about 20 artists (including a couple of his nieces) draw bees.
He is also very humble. I bet he didn't even mention that he was invited to give a speech at the Nobel Hall a few years ago.
No, he didn't mention that at all, that's amazing! He was very humble and actually talked more about the work of others, during the lecture, than his own. I can't wait to read his stuff.
