Hey there folks, Im in a bit of a pickle at the moment, and unsure how to really take it- or what to really think of the situation as a whole.

Well I work at Disney World Epcot in the World Showcase just about all the time now, and when you work or are aruond certian people a lot- you tend to get to know them right? Cense i work in the showcase, I get to know a lot fo people from all over the world.- and in this case, I ended up fancying a guy, but I think he's led me on-- or am I just being odd?

See, I met this guy who works in the UK Pravilian. His name is James. I mentiond him once, when I was giving ya'll an update about my Disney life.- James is from Wales. The way he spoke to me, and his manners is what attracted me to him, and just well...everything about him I guess...We exchanged #'s and such- and we use to talk for hours almost every night after work, because of our work hours, it was a little to impossible to really get togeather and hang out-We would make plans to try and do soemthing togeather, but i feel that I am the only one who tried to put an effert to it- Schedulaing wise- I dident once get his... I thought we were doing fine when one day, he stopped talknig to me all togeather, it was after October 6th (because it was his and my brothers birthday)- I dident know why, but it dident come to my mind till I text him one day, and never recived one back- I let it go for a while, and tried to contact him on how his day was, but nothing.

Then on Holloween night, my firend Jullie (Canada)- and I went out. She asked me if I fancied anyone hear, and I replied- James from over in the UK. She knew immidiatly whom I was talking about and gave me a look that I feard- He had gotten a girlfirend- and they seemed serious now- for about a week or so.- I looked at her a little upset. I was so glad she told me- but- I thought he Fancied me...atleast, thats the hint he gave me.

We still see one another from time to time, but when we do see one another, he shys away a bit- but never once mentions that he has a girlfriend, or is seeing someone- nore was he that way when we ended up having to sit next to one another on the bus ride home- he talked to his mates, but this "Jen" was never brought up- but I could tell he seemd a bit less interested in me, from the first time we met- and I Like him a lot-- I mean.....a lot- and I don't knwo what message he is trying to send- I don't want to stop talking to him, and he's not blowing me off- but I also want to know he thinks of me, firend/aqwantance wise- Dose he really have a girlfirend, and if so- am I being a nuss?.....

Iv'e had to also shy away a bit- form the things Ive herd. Ive cried to my mom over the phone- but international relationships rarely work out she exsplains- and my goodness.....I don't know what to do about this....am I over reacting?

over reacting? never! If you liked the guy and that happens, it's obviously going to bother you, and rightfully so.

still... things are sometimes one-sided, so I wouldnt let it bother you too much.

but if he's a nice guy, then dont let something like that discourage you from being friends.

Well I've read this, and had a think, and read it again, and seriously, I don't think anyone is going to come up with any answers, bar you actually asking him directly what the situation is.

It's entirely possible he was just being really friendly and some signs are being misread. On the other hand, not mentioning he has a girlfriend...? It depends how long he's been with the girl. Could she be back in Wales?

Anyhow, men can be very similar no matter where they are from. Yes, we have plenty of rogues here too, don't think the US has the monopoly on them. You're young Trish, just try not to stress and go enjoy being who you are at Disney and maybe the right guy will fall in your lap. As they say, if you stop looking, then something eventually happens...

After taking some time, thinking on this, not dwelling, I think that also, signs were just missread, or atleast, I'll belive that, unless I find out otherwise. My friend Jullie said he was really nice, and I belive that too- As Dr5trange said- There is no ression I I should stop talking to him, I guess now i know to just kinda- well, be more of an aquantance then n acctual friend, cense we don't see one another often.

He thinks I am going home in Jan, but I exstended my Disney stay till May 11th, because I have an oppertunity to audtion for Tinker Bell, and I want to do that, but I don't think I'll make it news to my international firends just yet, I think I might superise them.

James, as I herd, is dateing a girl from Canada, Jen, from the Canadian Pravillian at Epcot,which is right next to the UK- so I could see why. They work togeather, and they live closer togeather- etc....

It's just sometimes hard, like, I was raised a little on the "Girls do not ask a guy out- ect"--- but it's like- I think guy's almost exspect that now- but oh well, thats going in a different Direction.

Disney is so fun so far, and the exsperiance is grand--No wirries on "looking for Mr. Right"- at least not yet anyway...but it would be nice to have a flirt every now and then LoL!

And why not I say, all work and no play would make Trish a dull girl

Tbh I think girls asking guys out is a good thing, the onus on men to always make the first move is a little outdated. Well it would help for me a bit too, I've had my fair share of knockbacks, so if a cute girl happens to wander up to me and start talking, then I certainly won't ignore them

As long as you are sure in your mind about where you stand with him, then so much the better if you wish to still hang out with him.

Btw wish I could venture out there to see you as Tinkerbell heh...
