Sam Noir comic

Post by Space Wolf »

Has anyone checked out the Image comic Sam Noir: Samurai detective?
It's pretty good, has a sort of Sin City feel to it, but is about a Samurai private eye. Imagine a 1940's gumshoe movie with a samurai in it and you have the comic.

The first mini is out now as a trade, and a new mini was released today: Sam Noir: Ronin Holiday. I had to order this from Mid-town Comics in NY since my local shop never carries it.

I bought it. It's hilarious. I just interviewed the guys who did this as well. If you're looking for a funny, entertaining, and engaging story.

I bought the Sam Noir: Samurai Detective mini and just picked up issue 1 of Sam Noir: Ronin Holiday last night. I loved the first mini but havent read the issue I picked up last night yet.

Very good read.

I can't wait for ronin Holiday to show up, more than likely it will arrive next week.

I love the art work and use of black and white in this book. It would make for an interesting film or anime series!
