I didn't relize it was released yet but still I have misgivings about it. I haven't read any reviews but the way they're marketing this movie is just all sorts of wrong.

The reason you havent read any reviews about it is because they refused to release it to critics before the movie came out. They must not have thought it would be accepted well by the critics.

Most comic based films aren't.
But not haveing it reviewed at all beforehand...
Thats a bold move. They must have counted on a curious audiance all rushing to see the film early on thinking that word of mouth would deter people slower than getting it from Ebert & Roeper.
Are you a Ghost Rider fan? If so, was it close or totaly reimagined?

I am a ghost rider fan and I would say that some things were close.
You can read several reviews about it at aintitcoolnews.com

Coincendently, I just read Harry's last review before I checked back here. Seriously!

And man... He sounded angry.
"The film played out like a Video Game..."
Ouch.

I think my wife and I are going to see it tomorrow night. I heard that Bernie Wrightson did some of the design work for the movie...fact or fiction? The original Ghost Rider was created and drawn by Mike Ploog, the guy who drew Man-Thing. Right? Just trying to get my Ghost Rider facts straight.

Haven't seen it, thought I've heard and read lots of opinions about it. Most people I know say it's a horrible film, only visual attractive; on the other hand, other people say its entertaining, not good but not borin either.
I don't know how to think... after X-Men 3: Last Stand, I've nearly lost hope on this kind of movies. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of Ghost Rider either, so if I don't see this one, I think my life will go on. xD

I loved the Ghost Rider movie. However, I never read the comic so I have nothing to compare it to and went without preconceived expectations.

I enjoyed Ghost Rider.
My wife did as well. It was a fun action movie.
