Okay-- I was a HUGE F-Troop fan as a kid-- so much so that there are episodes that have stayed with me since my first seeing them (not even as reruns)-- and one of my favs was an episode called "From Karate With Love"-- starring Mako as a Samurai warrior sent to retrieve a young Japanese woman fleeing an arranged marriage-- and in the end, he finds that he's fallen in love with her, and they stay in the West.
I really remembered it after Kevin Munroe announced that Mako was to portray Splinter in the new TMNT movie. In recent days I'd even tried to find piccies of him from that episode-- no luck. Then Reinbeauchaser (a friend on other boards) found a site that showed the episodes-- and she snagged me these!
So young, and so cute-- I remember how I thought he was so cool back then.
