Has anyone tried to create any models before?

Like statues or small action figure things? I wasn't sure where to begin to figure it out. But I see some people design action figures. If anyone has done this before would you share some information?

You can use super sculpy to create your own figures.

Check out my thread in the main forum titled "Usagi Maquette" for more info on how the maquette was created and check out the thread I just put up titled "Usagi Diorama" to see the Maquette in various environments.

if you want to make multiples I'd recommend using an oil based clay (it won't dry out while you're making your original) and pouring a plaster mold (plaster is cheap at the hardware store!) and then press clay (regular clay this time) into the mold hollow out and connect the two halves and you're done! It's really not as bad as it might sound, you could do a google search for plaster mold making or 'slip casting'. When you're done and your clay figures are ready you could find a local potter or paint-your-own ceramics place to fire them in their kiln for you. Good luck!
