I thought this was funny.
I'm doing a substance abuse lecture for a class at UCSB. The professor tells me I can upload any handouts on the Sakai webserver. So I ask her, what is that? She sends me a password and user ID. (It's basically a on-line tool to increase organization and communication between faculty and students).
I do some searching and find this:
The Sakai Foundation Mission:
"The Sakai Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to coordinating activities around Sakai and the Sakai community to insure Sakai's long-term viability."
