There's something both cool and weird about seeing these icons from the '80's (and the actors playing them) make a comeback. What's next, I wonder? Arnold Schwarzenegger in CONAN III?

Well, John Milius originally did plan Conan as a trilogy. The last part would have been a much older King Conan, so Schwarzenegger would be perfect for it now.

If we could get Ford back as Jack Ryan that would be great. He is older in the books as well.
This looks good though, notice the box that said "Roswell, New Mexico" on it?

One of my favorite film franchises of all time. Hopefully, it will do the older films justice...

I think one problem with making another Conan movie would be that Basil Poledouris is no longer available to compose the score since he died a year or two ago. Of course, you could always bring in someone else to recycle the themes from the first movie, but that just wouldn't be the same. The score for the first movie is so perfect that I can't imagine the movie without it (I like his score for the first
Robocop a lot too).

Speaking of older icons, I thought the new Rocky movie was awesome! I wasn't a big fan of Rocky II through V, but this one is good. The moral of the story, "Old guys can still kick butt!"

Man, I used to watch my Indiana Jones tapes over and over when I was a kid. I even wanted to be an archaeologist till I found out it isn't all punching out Nazis and dodging booby traps.
