Little Tokyo (Los Angeles, CA) Question

Next week I will be in downtown Los Angeles for Anime Expo '08, and one of my side-trip plans is to visit the Japanese-American Museum in Little Tokyo...
Any good lunch / dinner recommendations for the Little Tokyo area, and / or places I should avoid like the plague? (not looking for anything fancy or expensive, but I do like to hunting down places that do a decent katsu-curry).
Thanks in advance!

Well, I did eat at one place in Little Tokyo that I thought was pretty good:

BTW, the second link has some interesting reviews of ramen restaurants around the world as well...

Ever been to Japantown in San Fransisco? I've only been once, and I didn't stay for very long, but I liked what I saw of it.

Been there twice, once in 1993 for Anime Expo and the last in 1996 for Anime-America. Wasn't able to stay very long also, but was impressed nonetheless.
Thought SF Japan-Town was a lot more bigger and cleaner than Little Tokyo, but LT has a charm of its own.
My hometown Seattle doesn't have a Chinatown or Japantown, but has an "International District" since we've got a whole melting-pot of Asian cultures smooshed together...
Since Wonder-con may be replacing San Diego Comic-Con for my future comic-book convention trips, there's a good chance for a return visit.
