I liked it! Very nice artwork / comic! I look forward to part II.

p.s. It wasn't a full embodiment of his journey (from where you started to the ending), but, nice snippets that seemed to flow fairly nicely!

Very nicely done. Is this a personal project, or will this be printed somewhere?

Thanks everybody. Did you notice I borrowed the skull within the speech balloon from Usagi? It's a great way to show someone's dying.

The story behind this story is this:

The church I go to is quite small, but once a year, we let our pastor go on vacation. When he does, we all do our best to fill in for him. Somebody grabs a guitar, somebody else a Bible and attempts to say something edifying.

Last week was my turn. What I do is make a comic based on a Bible story ahead of time. I make each panel a slide in a Powerpoint program. Then I tell the story with the pictures and make comments along the way.

I think eventually it will be in print through self-publishing venues. Other than that, I will send it to various publishing companies and see if anybody is interested in printing it. Maybe some Sunday School material publishers? You never know!

Marchino,

I am a teacher and have the summer off from school. This past summer has been my most productive artistically of my life. I make it my goal to do a page a day. Some days I get caught up with other things. Other days I might actually get two or three pages done.

This project, start to finish was done in two weeks.

I was meaning to ask if the School of the Profits at Jericho (in business to make money) were purposely meant to look like the Three (4) Stooges?

Mo-chon, it reminded me of locker room antics, too. I think it's okay to find humor in it!

Steve, I do think some of them resemble stooges. I'm trying to mix up my characters, get new face styles. I'm afraid sometimes a lot of them look too much alike. I didn't notice the financial incentives on their part in my research, but you may be right. I was trying to illustrate that they were aware of something momentous going on, but very casual and willing to watch from the sidelines. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!
