RASL

Post by Tinlantern »

Don't know how keen folks here are on Jeff Smith, but Bone is one of those comics I used to pick up before it went to Image. I lost track but later picked up the complete Bone in Graphic Novel form. One of the true greats.

SO... Jeff Smith is currently publishing a new book on his own called RASL (pronounced Rass-el). It's about an art thief that jumps dimensions stealing from others. It's adult in nature, and so far is pretty good.

Crisp clean black and white like Mr. Sakai. Currently 2 issues out, and a third coming in September. It's a quarterly.

Anyway, besides collecting Usagi, Bone, and Goon.. RASL is the newest addition to my list. Check it out!

Found an article about the comic. A little more in depth.

I like Rasl, but this new series is "For Mature Readers", just FYI.

It's not that edgy, I enjoy it very much. But definitely not for young kids.

It's different than Bone.

I like it.

I wish it came out more regularly.

Unfortunately I picked up issue 1 and did not like it.
It just didn't appeal to me.
