Stan Sakai's Studio

We bought a new house a year ago, and I actually have a place for drawing table, etc. in the basement. I am setting up a little studio down there across from the laundry room. Or, as I call it, "The Man-cave".

I am interested in looking at how different artists set up their studio.

Does anyone know if there is a place online already, with a photo of Stan's studio set up?

It is not on-line, but you should check out Greg Preston's book, The Artist Within, which is a collection of photographs of numerous artists predominantly in their studios.

The photos below of Stan is also included in the book. There is a link in the earlier thread to the Dark Horse site which allows you to view some of the pages.

The Greg Preston photo that ran in the Tozai Times was taken almost 20 years ago, and is of my old studio. The rest are of my present studio. It has nice eastern and northern facing windows for light.

Those black splotches on my drawing table are ink squiggles. I start my pens by squiggling them on the bristol board on the drawing table cover.
