The actor playing Freddy Krueger in the upcoming A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake has just been announced:

You know, up till now, I thought only Robert Englund could ever manage to pull off Freddy. Seeing Jackie Earle Haley in WATCHMEN changed my mind.

Even though that sounds like a good choice, I'm not at all excited about this movie. What is this, the 9th Nightmare on Elm street movie? I think that's plenty.
