Two of my former editors--Jamie Rich and Katie Moody--talk about Blacksad, which will be published by Dark Horse.

After leaving Usagi, both rose from assistant editor (to Diana) to become full-fledged editors. Jamie became editor-in-chief at Oni Press, and is now a freelance writer. Katie is an editor at Dark Horse.

I have the French and English editions of the first two books, but this will be the first time all three will be available in English.

Blacksad is coming to Darkhorse?

Blacksad is one of the most intriguing graphic novels to come out this decade, IMHO.

I was psyched to see that announcment at Dark Horse's booth at SDCC. Juanjo Guarnido is an insanely talented artist and I'd love to read the third book Red Soul in English. My high school French just doesn't cut it.

I first heard of Blacksad here on the Dojo Boards. I plan to add this to my comic pull and check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Peace, maka
