Andy Warhol's nephew

Our school had a wonderful visit from author/illustrator James Warhola. He shared his creative process with us and talked about his book "Uncle Andy's" -- in which he describes his childhood visits to his uncle, Andy Warhol.

This visit was very inspirational for the kids, who are excited to make their own stories and books, and for us art history geeks -- who really enjoyed an inside look at an art history icon.

Very neat. I was able to read the newspaper article, but not the school blog.

I did a report on Andy Warhol for one of my college art history classes.

Stan,

That's neat. I will try again to post the school blog. James was admiring the Usagi sketch I have in my room. I showed him some of my Usagi paperbacks. He was very interested to learn about your projects. He used to work for Mad Magazine and travelled with "the usual gang of idiots" on one of their excursions, so he was familiar with Sergio. He was amazed that you have lettered so many things.
