I got to see Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Herge's comic book yesterday (it comes out earlier in the UK). The motion-capture technique they use to animate Tintin and the other characters really is incredible, and for the most part Spielberg nails the charm and warmth of the classic comic. It's not a perfect film, especially in the third act, but if you're a Tintin fan, it's a must-see.
