hi guys!
I just wanted to spread some love for a comic book that I recently discovered in I think a preview in either chew or the walking dead..got it yesterday and have read the first two issues as of today and it's really remarkable!it is called 'fatale', done by ed brubaker and sean phillips...this is definatelly a crime noir gangster story very skillfully written and caught in the art, I have to really big this up, because I am so impressed with it...
the series as I said isn't old(there are two issues right now, the first is already a second printing) and plays in a horror field, so you have actually a sort of detective story in a film noir style but it is a truely frightning horror story in itself;)..you have to check it out to get what I am talking about I guess...it's about this beautiful woman who is not aging somehow...she was in liason with a corrupt cop in the 1950s in frisco and that cop was on to something big that included a weird occult believers group...in issue two there is a scene that gave me the shivers for real...again I may not be a good story summerizer(let's face it I am terrible at it;)..) but this should be enjoyed by more people in my oppinion, true comic book art here...oh, it's published by image comics by the way....
great new comic discovered!...
