Joon-ho Bong's SNOWPIERCER is an angry, ferocious film about the escalating war between the classes condensed into a struggle upon a train barrelling through a world covered in endless ice and snow. It's a brutal watch, but it's worth seeing at least once for the message it imparts to the poor and rich alike. For those who think the acts of incomprehensible evil committed in the movie are too far-fetched, they only need to be reminded of the Holocaust. Or Southern slavery. Or Wall Street members toasting each other with champagne in plain sight of Occupy protesters below them.

I liked this movie too. Right up there with The Host and Bong's other Korean films.
