I recently received this in the mail from Japan.

Samurai Taisho Darth Vader from Movie Realization by BANDAI.





Fully articulated.
Size: Approx. 180mm tall (approximately 7 inches tall)
Material: ABS, PVC

I've been carefully keeping watch of my source for Japanese toys... the Stormtrooper has been listed for a few weeks but is not yet available for pre-order (or keeps selling out). Suggested retail is 8424 JPY, but they it discounted at 6350 JPY.

Somehow, I could swear I've seen Japanese armour with nipples, but of course when you need to find something, you can't ... I've searched but with no real reliable results.

There are 3 Stormtrooper versions scheduled.
This one is the Ashigaru Stormtrooper (foot soldier). There will also be a Teppou Ashigaru Stormtrooper (Musketeer) and an Ashigaru Banner carrier, as well as a Royal Guard.

Several other figures have also been released or scheduled for release.

I saw the Batman online, but not really my thing... looks cool though.

So far, I have the original Darth Vader, Storm Trooper, and Boba Fett.

Wow, those are really cool! I don't have any of these, but I think they're a great idea for a series of figures.

Just ordered one of the Storm Trooper Samurai from this series. They are readily available on Amazon now. Sooooooo cool!

At Barnes and Noble yesterday I picked up the Ronin Boba Fett figure. It's fantastic. Now he needs some stormtroopers to fight!

I have the Teppo Ashigaru and the Ashigaru Stormtrooper. I think I need to get the Boba Fett one for Christmas! Love them!

A fantastic range of figures. I'm impressed by the consideration and detail put into them, and the articulation is crazy. And y'know, Darth Vader looks even more imposing as a samurai.
