Who is your favorite superhero?

Who is your favorite superhero? I'm guessing most of the people on this board would say their favorite comic character is Usagi, so I figured I'd ask about superheroes.
My favorite is Thor.

It depends. If a superhero is just a hero with extraordinary powers then Hellboy and Popeye are my joint favorites.
But a classic, costume-wearing hero? Then mine would be Plastic Man (with Spider-Man and Batman '66 close behind).

Maybe Spiderman for me.
My interest in Green Arrow also recently increased a lot, partly due to the TV series (archers are always cool).

Yes, it depends on what definition we use for "superhero"
If it's "a role-model, and someone to look up to, and emulate," then my choice is none other than Usagi Yojimbo.
In the more classical comic book sense it would be Batman (Frank Miller's Dark Knight).
Or, if we can broaden the category like Angilasman mentions, I'll also include Hellboy.

DC Comics: Raven...but this is the old-school Wolfman/Perez version. I am unfamiliar with her latest incarnation.
Marvel: Black Widow. Even before the movies.

Independent: Grendel, Usagi
Of course everything depends on the writer. I followed WW for ever until the writing let me down.
Simone's run on WW was perfection, as was her Birds of Prey.
Brubaker's run on Cap was stellar (he also brought back Bucky).
Bendis' run on DD was awesome.
Abnett and Lanning on Guardians. They remade Marvel's Cosmic line.
Ennis on Punisher.
Morrison on X-men brought me back to comics (bastid!)
Hickman on FF/Secret Warriors blew my mind.
So many great writers out there. But sometimes you really have to search for them and hope they don't get overwhelmed by the latest "Big Event".

I grew up a big fan of Wolverine, so I'd probably have to go with him as my favorite superhero, even though I haven't read the comic in close to two decades. I've got a bit of catching up to do.
I'm not sure if he's considered a superhero, but I've recently been reading the Hellboy library editions and enjoying them. My first introduction to Hellboy was through the movies. I'd love to see a third one to make it a trilogy.
While I read a lot of Marvel titles, I never really got into DC, despite being a big fan of Batman (the Adam West series, Tim Burton films, and the animated series that aired in the early to mid 90's). I've heard good things about the Zack Snyder "Court of Owls" run, so I'll probably check that out.

When I was around 12 (1984) I started buying comics and it was Spiderman for me. I do not suppose Conan counts as a superhero, eh? Spiderman does not "do it" for me as much now but not sure who is my favorite at the moment.
I only recently got back into comics after a 20 year lay-off and the only reason I returned was b/c I discovered Usagi Yojimbo! I have not followed the superhero comics or movies at all since the late '80's.

I recall reading recently news about Del Toro possibly working towards doing a third Hellboy movie. I would hope so as well, I quite enjoyed both films and would love to see a third one. (I do need to get around to checking out the actual comics, but with all the various titles and mini-series, I'm a little unsure as to where to start).
Favorite superhero? Hm, that's tough, I really can't narrow it down to just one (and I'm going with the usual definition of being a costumed hero).
DC: Superman, Shazam (Capt. Marvel), the Flash
Marvel: Thor, Daredevil, Iron Man

Jubei, if you are a Thor fan I would strongly recommend the series by Robert Langridge and Chris Samnee. It is my second favorite comic series ever, besides Usagi, of course.

The Hellboy hardcover Library Editions collect every story in (pretty much) the order they were printed up to a big story called "The Storm and the Fury." After that the series has split into two series: Hellboy in Hell (set in the present) and Hellboy and the BPRD (set in the early days of Hellboy's career). Of course, this split happened just a year or two ago, so once we build up enough material those will likely be collected into Library Editions as well.
All the spin-offs provide a wealth of detail and world-building for the Hellboy universe, but you can just read Hellboy and not worry about them if you want. If you do choose to read the spin-offs just find a list of the order which they were published, don't try to read them chronologically because they're set in all sorts of different time periods and it'll be needlessly confusing!
As for the third movie: everyone wants to do it, but the first two were only profitable when they went to home video. Now that the home video market has shrank so much the movie studios don't think spending millions on a new one is a profitable idea.

My favorite superhero is Batman (unless I am including characters like Lobster Johnson, but he's more of a pulp hero). I'm also a fan of Superman, Captain America (I wasn't a huge fan until the second movie, which led me to read more Captain America comics), Spider-man, and plenty of others.
