I'm still enjoying Better Call Saul, Homeland and Killing Eve, but when I'm feeling down I just pop on an episode of Bluey and all is right in the world.

Season 2 started in Australia last month. I wonder how long we'll have to wait?

Better Call Saul is probably my favorite current show on television (though Fargo, when it's on air, is the other contender).

Beside BCS, I've been enjoying Devs (FX original on Hulu) and just finished the insane docu series Tiger King. I'm also looking forward to the second half of Rick and Morty's current season.

I tend to watch shows more when they come out as a full season on Blu-ray/streaming rather than episode by episode as they air, so still need to watch season 7 of Homeland and the final season of Mr. Robot. Not to mention the other 20-30 shows in my Netflix queue.

Great show. If you like Fargo you might also enjoy HBO's True Detective (weird like Fargo). Also, if you like Martin Freeman (Fargo) you might like BBC's Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Have you read any of your Lemire backlog during lockdown? I finished all four Redneck trades by Donny Cates (A fun vampire book) and I also finished Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan (I got confused ). I really want to read Once & Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora. Unfortunately, I don't have the book in hand so I have to wait it out

I am terrible at TV. But I currently slowly watching Firefly (Kyle recommendation). I haven’t watched any of the other shows you both listed. I live a sheltered life (pun intended).

Where can I watch Bluey?

I don't watch much TV. Maybe an hour a night is average. That's sit down watching. We have it on for TV Japan and NHK World before, during and after dinner, but actual sit down to watch a program is maybe an hour.

I signed up for Netflix a couple of years ago so I could watch Stranger Things. Then CBS All Access so I could watch Star Trek Discovery (and then Picard). And now Disney + so I could watch the Mandalorian.

There's a bunch of programs I watched on Netflix, some better than others. Altered Carbon. Lost in Space. Locke & Key. Black Mirror (those were weird episodes). I'm not super picky, so as long as I'm entertained. I do prefer Sci Fi and Fantasy over drama or sitcoms.... but sitcoms can be fun.

I need to try Firefly again. I watched a few episodes when it originally aired, but for some reason didn't get into it.

Right now I'm catching up on Crown of Thorns. I left off with season 6 (which I just finished rewatching), and will start season 7 tomorrow.

I'm also watching Ultra Q episodes here & there...

On DVD, I just started watching a 14 episode batch of Gokenin Kankuro, a Fuji jidaigeki television series from 1997 - 1998 starring Watanabe Ken......

My wife and I have really been enjoying The Plot Against America on HBO. It is David Simon's, creator of The Wire, most high-concept show to date. It is an alternate history tale that wonders what it would have been like if actual anti-semite/racist Charles Lindbergh's political aspirations had taken off and he managed to defeat Harry Truman in the 1940 election and then kept America out of WWII. The story is primarily told through the eyes of a Jewish family living in New Jersey.

Killing Eve season 3 premiers next week and I am very excited about that. I watched the previous seasons as they were released but my wife didn't watch it till last month so I rewatched them with her. It is so good and bloody and tense and weird. Both lead actresses very much deserved their Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy nominations (and win on Jodie Cormer's part) last year.

Now is also a fascinating time to be a pro wrestling fan. Most flagship pro wrestling is aired live from big arenas and has been for decades. Suddenly those arenas and the screaming fans filling them aren't available so companies are getting creative and are experimenting with form. Both WWE and AEW have begun pre-taping and editing their footage which allows them to accomplish things that would be impossible on a live broadcast. Some of it works, some of it falls flat but either way it is exciting to see innovation.

I recorded a ton of episodes to my DVR (Spectrum cable). I also watched a lot on disneynow.com. Sadly, they've removed a lot from Disney Junior. There used to be 20+ shows and now it's down to 5 freebies and 5 log in required. Some of my favorites are no longer available.

Sounds like my brother. Instead of music that's his background noise. Journeys in Japan is must watch. I've also tried Cycling Around Japan and something about Japanese railways.

I need to try Firefly again.

I watched it when it first came out so I'm not sure how it's held up over time. You get to see a young Morena Baccarin before she became somewhat famous (Homeland, Deadpool, Gotham)

What's Mr. Robot about?

I don't think I could describe it properly without giving away the twist. It just as confusing as Legion at times. A Wikipedia blurb would probably be more helpful.

That is a pretty good show. I haven't seen all of them yet.

I only watch samurai movies when they're on TCM.

I don't follow wrestling, but I know they've been filming here in Central Florida for the past month or so. I watched an MMA bout last month and it was weird without all the fans.

As for Mr. Robot, that one is available to watch for free if you have Amazon Prime. If I had to describe it in a single sentence, I'd say it's about "A group of hackers tries to take down a giant, evil corporation, but not everything is as it appears."

I will add that unlike the portrayal of most "hackers" in television/film this one is incredibly well researched and very much in the realm of possibility.

Nothing like young Julia Styles jamming with the console cowboy in cyberspace or two people on a single keyboard or this nonsense chain of technical terms.
