General discussion (non-Usagi Yojimbo related) about all things Japan -- Feudal Japan, Samurai, Ninjas, Anime & Manga, Chambara films, Japanese Pop Culture, Otaku, martial arts, history, sushi, giant robots, Godzilla... anything Japan-related!
The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco (http://www.asianart.org/) has a Tezuka art exhibit until Sept. 9th. The website says it's the first of it's kind outside of Japan.
I saw the exhibit on 7.22.07 about an hour before the museum closed. It was a small room but had a lot of original art that showed the range of storytelling Tezuka was capable of. I love looking at original art. Such clean inking and compositions.
Photo taking is not allowed in the gallery so we took these outside.
The edit feature is cool. We can ad photos to previous post. (See above).
One of us should start a UY fan "sighting" link in one of these forums (which one?). Rules:
1) Person must be wearing UY clothing or holding UY figure.
2) The UY product should be clearly visible in the picture.
3) Interesting background (famous locations or interesting backgrounds)
4) Location and date posted with picture.
