Happy Dolls' Day! March 3 is the Festival of Dolls where dolls of the Heian period Emperor, Empress, and their court are displayed on tiered platforms.

This day used to be known as Girls' Day, and May 5 Boys' Day. However, May 5 is now Children's Day. Both are national holidays.
