Rumiko Takahashi strikes again! Rin-ne

Post by Gallennon »

So we just got in at the bookstore I work in Rumiko Takahashi's new manga Rin-ne. From what i have read the manga just came out four days ago in Japan and now we have it here. The story is about a young high school girl who can see the dead and her strange red head classmate who is a Shinagami.....sort of. From the little bit I read it seems like a fun story, but also reminds me of Bleach meets Inu-Yasha a lot. Anyone else seen this book or series? Viz media is posting the individual issues in English on their site to be viewed for free, the same day the actual issue is released in Shonen Sunday. Which I must say is pretty cool.

Here is the commercial for the release of the first two graphic novels.
