Apparently, Toshiro Mifune was one of George Lucas's first choices for the part of Obi-Wan. Here's a glimpse of how Mifune's Jedi might have turned out:

Okay, that would have been cool. Now we need to see a classic Mifune sword fight with lightsabers overlayed on it, and that would be awesome.
