Interesting little piece on Matahachi of the MUSASHI saga

Post by Ben »

Out of the entire cast in Eiji Yoshikawa's book (and manga by Takehiko Inoue), I've always identified the most with Matahachi. For anyone who's ever been a "loser", or felt as if they were a loser, it's hard not to feel sympathy for this poor guy. This is an insightful retrospective on Matahachi and his place in the story.
