I saw this episode, the Miyazaki tribute part was fun (it even included a pretty dead-on pastiche of Joe Hisaishi's music for Miyazaki's films) but I didn't really care much for the rest of the episode. The thing that made me laugh the most was probably Homer's reaction to snake wine (yes, that's a real thing): "That's disgusting! Wine made out of rice!"
"It doesn't matter whom you are paired against;
your opponent is always yourself."
