Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis on Cartoon Network!!!!!

Post by Angelcake »

Yes, it's true.

On Saturday at midnight, eastern standard time, Cartoon Network will be airing the anime interpretation of Osamu Tezuka's classic sci-fi graphic novel, Metropolis.

Why is this so cool, other than the fact that its based on a Tezuka masterpiece? Well, becauses its directed by Katsuhiro Otomo! Yes, the creator of AKIRA!

I'm not gonna give away the plot, since that would ruin the coolness, but I will say this much.....

It's based on a Tezuka classic, and its from the director of Steamboy.

Need I say more?

Sincerely,
Angelcake
