You Know You've Been In Japan Too Long...

Post by jeremy »

Hi, I wonder if anybody has seen this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Know-Youve-Been-J ... 097&sr=1-1

Anyway, one of the items state that you know you've been in Japan too long...when you see a geisha. Apparently, to cross paths with a bona fide geisha is quite rare, but it was written that to see a samurai is even harder...

That's interesting....I wonder if anyone knows if the old samurai caste still exist to this day :?:

I have seen this book before but haven't bought it yet.

I have a notebook full of book titles are about Japan. I keep updating it whenever I come across a new book I want to read about Japan. The book is getting pretty filled up.

Sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day to read everything I want to read. :(
