illustrator Tadahiro Uesugi interview on Gaiman's Coraline

Hello UYDers,

I guess this could fit under ramblings as well, but the artist is Japanese so I posted it here. I'm really looking forward to this movie (but I'm not taking the kids - too scary). Interesting the Japanese translation had a japanese artist instead of Dave McKean. I enjoyed the book.

I saw the movie over the weekend, and I liked it. It probably is a little too scary for young kids, but it's not quite as much of a horror movie as I was expecting. I thought it was pretty cool to see a mainstream American animated movie that included references to Homer and Shakespeare.
