I am coming back from Japan and would like to share some of my Usagi/Stan related pictures with the dojo...

Did you hear the sounds of the semi (cicada)?

I went in Kyoto and Tokyo. The trip was primarily for work but I did my best for enjoying my times ! Kyoto is really a great city, not too big to apprehend as Tokyo can be. I was lucky to be in Kyoto for the Gion Festival and the city was really busy. I did actually hear cicadas, specially around temples where the atmosphere is more calm than in the streets.

For the weather, no surprise at this season : humid, wet (luckily very little rain) and hot. I don't remember to have sweat so much in my entire life !

My wife & I plan on going in October - Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura, Nagoya, and Ise.
I love Japan and keep telling my wife we should move there (my wife is from Kamakura). Her reply is: "You'll die" - in reference to the hot humid summers.
