A few days ago on Facebook, Stan shared that he and Julie would be at a small craft fair, in the L.A. area. The craft fair was today and I took the opportunity to see him and get some books signed. I also had the pleasure to meet and talk with Julie a little. My wife and dog came along and also enjoyed meeting Stan and Julie.
I brought along my Gallery Edition and my Saga volumes (2 thru 5).

Here are the sketches...

Saga Volume 3
Saga Volume 4
Saga Volume 5
Stan also presented me with a Dark Horse Christmas card, UY bookmark, and one of his new business cards.
I tried to make it but my lunch with my parents went until 2:45. I had brought along my gallery edition as well but that will have to wait for some other day (SD Comic Fest 2016!).
We are lucky to live in California so close to where Stan lives. It's cool you got to met Julie too. Thanks for sharing! Peace, maka

Hi Maka.
I saw your FB photos and knew you were in town, so I wondered if you were going to be there,
Yes, we are fortunate to live so close to Stan. Comic cons can be somewhat overwhelming for me, so I really liked this craft fair, It was a very intimate, low key affair that was set up in a private residence. Even then, I still get a little overwhelmed in the presence of Stan. Julie was very friendly, and as it turned out happens to be friends with one of my wife's co-workers... small world, huh?
Very nice sketches, maichan. The Gallery Edition sketches shared on this forum have been some of the most impressive UY sketches that I've seen, in my opinion.

Thanks!
As far as lugging around all those hardcovers - wasn't a problem. It was a super small event and was located at a small home in a residential neighborhood and our car was parked right outside. I brought them all (just in case), and when I asked Stan, he was okay with signing them, so I was very fortunate for the circumstances.
