Update: I've see all my links stopped working. Sorry for the poor quality of images.
I bought from Stan at the Holiday Bazaar (in my neck of the woods - Monterey Park, I believe - though my memory is questionable). From SDCC Souvenir Book 2004.
I recently got this from Stan (2014). It is my most precious piece of art. Unused page from Usagi Yojimbo: Senso #6.
This was on the back of the Senso piece. But I am going to have the front framed, so we will have to enjoy it here.
Peace,
maka

Those are AWESOME! I love the death of Gen. Was that a con purchase?
...and the coloured piece is gorgeous - how did you come to have that one? Tell us the stories!
The SDCC UY 20th anniversary (I like your title: The Dealth of Gen ) piece was picked up at a 2004 signing in Monterey Park (California).
When I said, "I'll buy this one" Mr. Sakai said, "Really?" As if he was surprized a fan would pay that much for a piece.
I had him sign a couple of hardcovers to my daughter. I got back in line and asked him to sign the original art. Mr. Sakai joked, "You're keeping this one, hun?"
That's right!
I love that it's personalized to me on the bottom. Ah, such a fanboy.
I bought the color one on eBay using BIN. It's an interesting size. I really like the colors. Usagi seems to pop out. It's very fun.
Edit 2014: I donated the color piece to CAPS for their eBay auction to raise money for the Sakai's medical bills.
Peace, maka

those are just beautiful Maka. I particularly love the rain scene. The cats are awesome too but the muted colours and the weather aspect really pull me in.
I haven't had a chance to get my Usagi and friends poster framed yet.
I was hoping to get it for my birthday but with my wife very ill, I will have to wait.

Excuse the quality of pictures - they were taken with the camera phone.
I was planning to write a very nerdy blog post about the Senso art piece I got from Stan. But I haven't had the time (someday). So I took some pictures with my iPhone 4 and edit my first post in this thread. Enjoy.
Stan, thank you again for the Senso piece. I treasure it.
Peace, maka
PS. Looks like all my picture links in this thread are broken (I'll have to fix those sometime).
A really awesome piece of art! Stan said this piece was going to a "Friend" but he never mentioned him by name. I have to say, Stan has excellent taste in friends!
