I got some Stan art
Ok it's nothing amazing but Stan drew this at the MFA talk in Boston. Carolyn is my wife, he drew it to illustrate how he storyboards with thumbnails. We are delighted to have it:

Congrats
It's a select few of us who have had the privilege to be the subject of Stan's design process

My wife was delighted. She still can't top laughing at the bagel munch face he drew up in the corner.

Congrats Antizombie! Be the subject of Stan is one of the most rare original pieces of art ever!
Did you frame that?
Peace, maka
I seem to remember Mayhem being the subject of Stan's SDCC 40th anniversary / Usagi Yojimbo 25th anniversary panel sketch. But he did it on huge easel paper.Mayhem wrote:It's a select few of us who have had the privilege to be the subject of Stan's design process

Heck yes I framed it. I also put the picture of gen I drew in it because Stan did a quick sketch of usagi as his opponent on it. So I have a picture drawn by me and Stan

Re: I got some Stan art
Mine isn't framed, partly due to size, partly due to space. I wish I could put up all my stuff (if you haven't seen it Antizombie, check out my thread in this forum), but there's no way I'd be able to have it all up.

Oh ya mayham I h ave seen it
I troll these forums pretty hard, don't h ave a ton to contribute though
I especially like your usagi in the fall watercolor and the 3 women fighting over usagi.
I would love to get my own sometime but just can't afford it, plus Stan doesn't come out to the east coase all that much.

Yeah, that would be good to see

Thanks. The watercolour was an online auction, the fight scene was my commission at SDCC 2008. I've been fortunate to have the money to go fly out to the convention a number of times...Antizombie wrote:I especially like your usagi in the fall watercolor and the 3 women fighting over usagi.
