Trying to find....
Can anyone help me find where I can buy one of the DHC promo posters for UY - #47 -48. I have recently had all my Usagi art framed including the new DHC Art of Usagi litho, the 2004 Seattle comic con poster, comics jurnal #192, UY #100 promo poster, my 1992 litho and my piece of orignal art along with the letter and UY mon from the package it came in. I got my orginal from Stan when I sent him a signed poster of anamorphic style Italian knights (called contradas) I found in Siena Italy, the poster included a sketch of the winning contrada (in yearly horse race called the Palio) along the bottom- the winner looked to be a close european relation to Gen- totally uexpected he sent me back an original Usagi! THANK YOU STAN. Thats when I started my serious collecting for a framed series to display in my office. Anyway, looking for the Kite Fest to round out my display. If you have one to get rid of or know where I can pick one up please let me know - thanks so much - samaseymour@yahoo.

Howdy and welcome to the Dojo
As for the piece in question, you must have missed the one that was recently on eBay... which I won!
Hold on... I just checked the bidding record... hmm seems like I beat you to it perhaps? Next time one pops up I'll mention it to you...
I see you got your litho for a lot less than I did, but I can't really complain when they shipped it all the way to the UK for free as well!
Anyhow, hope you stick around and enjoy the community

The ebay seller "gopromoman" http://myworld.ebay.com/gopromoman/ has sold a lot of them on ebay. He must have picked up a large number of the posters when they were first released. I just sent one I bought from him off to Fanfan in France a week or two ago. He doesn't have any listed currently.
The poster features the wrap=around "Kite Festival" artwork from the front and back covers of UY issue #47 and #48.
