Tomoe protects her lord... I think Noriyuki is probably more concerned for the bandits setting themselves against his chief retainer, than he is for his own well being^^;

Beautiful. As usual, your expressions are wonderful. I like your choices for colors. The muted tones really set an ominous mood.

Thank you, Sensei^__^ I'm glad if my use of color is improving. It's amazing how much emotion can be conveyed or completely lost, just by choosing the right or wrong shade of medium tan^^;

Beautiful! Fantastic! Gorgeous! Awesome! Outstanding! Magnificent! Brilliant! Splendid! Marvelous! Amazing! Just a few words to describe your new piece of fan art. :lol:

Your fan art is always a joy to behold, the way you always manage to capture the spirit of the characters in your own special style. And you still manage to reach even high with each new piece.

Awww, thanks Steve^_^ You sure know how to make a girl (and her sketchbook) feel welcomed! It's always great to see something you draw bring someone joy^_^

Lol, I've learned so much drawing Mr. Sakai's characters. How can you not grow with each piece^_^ His characters are so clear in their concept; I really can't think of a better way to practice understanding and expressing character motivation. And his design work is so pure, that it can handle individual style without a hitch. Not even Mickey Mouse can boast that! I hope to be such a gifted designer some day...

Hey ! you took my words!

Time after time it is difficult to find another words to describe all the feelings that your drawings generate, but the fact is that aesthetically your style still improves, moreover there is so much emotions inside your illustrations, no wasted details just exactly what you need to catch the essence of a situation.

when i look at this illustration, i am inside your illustration...

:shock: Amy, your fan art always floors me; although not your characters, you nevertheless present them in your own special (and amazing, awesome...just add Steve's words here :wink: ) style.

And what about your thought:

I'd dare say you already are a gifted designer!!

You've shown us time and again you've got the gift to convey the spirit of a character, blending in your own view of that character just enough to make it your perception, without warping him into something we feel he isn't. If that is not a gift, then I don't know anything about comics....

Your art work is improving with each piece, starting from an already high level, and now that you focus on the use of shades and color... it makes me think how much better it can get? :lol:

I'm really, really looking forward to seeing your very own, original creation. Not that I want to put any pressure upon you, mind you! Take your time, but be prepared for a massive applause from my side when you show us "your" piece of art.

Your to this date silent fan

You just keep getting better and better here Amy :)

Frankly I'm not sure I can say anything now that hasn't already been said by someone else ;)

Sorely tempted to ask you if you could draw something for me in an entirely non-Usagi setting... just to see how it turns out. Still comic/cartoon related... but we'll see...

Aww, thanks Fanfan^_^ Even if Steve does take all the words, you always find something nice to say. It's great to hear from you^_^

Image<-- Plus, this thing is just awesome! Look at it... Who needs words when you have one of these?

Oh wow, really? ::blush:: Thank you Thomas^_^ I had no idea you enjoyed my art. (I mean, besides that it is of Usagi, and as such, has a certain inherent coolness about it^_^; ) That means a lot to me. It really does... I'll have to work hard then, and hope my own pieces won't be a disappointment^_^

Still.. I love Usagi! You can count on seeing more of him^_~

Non Usagi? But cartoon/comic book related? ... well, you can PM me about it, if you want. If it's something I'm familiar with, I could probably at least do a sketch for you^_^

Hmm... Well, it's all in the fanart forums here somewhere. Anything posted by "Amy" should be mine. But you can also find a lot of it at my DeviantArt site:

mysketchbook.deviantart.com

I've kindda wanted to make a personal site for awhile. Maybe even have some of my original illustrations on it... It'd be kindda fun^_^; Anyway, if I do, I'll definitely have my Usagi art there!
